The National Flute Association will host its 37th Annual Convention in New York City from August 13-16 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel, 1535 Broadway at West 46th Street in Midtown Manhattan with over 3000 flutists, composers, flute scholars and flute enthusiasts from all over the world.  Highlights of the convention include performances and workshops by international flute superstar Sir James Galway, who will receive the NFA's highest honor, the Lifetime Achievement Award, perform in recital,
