YOU CAN TEACH YOURSELF TINWHISTLE was an enjoyable experiment for me, and I learned definitely what I needed to know in playing this small, lovely instrument. As most jazz musicians are now aware of its presence in jazz, the tinwhistle like the recorder is becoming more popular. I found the instruction easy and enjoyable learning. There are numerous exercises and songs to practice, and each one helps the musician learn more about the uses of the tinwhistle. If you want to learn a lively version of "When The Saints Go Marching In," it is found in this book, and for jazz fans, it is a fun learning experience. YOU CAN TEACH YOURSELF TINWHISTLE is a nice way to learn the tinwhistle. Highly recommended for all musicians interested in the tinwhistle as a performing instrument.A great treat for the jazz musician seeking the know-how to play the tinwhistle is found in this book! Much enjoyment abounds in these 80 pages.
