The Mark Fechner Jazz Experience is Chicago saxophone jazz at its best! With a clean, quick, melodic sound, Mark Fechner takes the listener on a musical mystery tour with his saxophone, backed by Pat Keiner on guitar, Jeff Hansel on bass, and Bret Sher on drums. This is Fechner's third CD and most recent. Some of the great music found herein includes: Chick Corea's "La Fiesta," Duke Ellington's "Caravan," Hoagy Carmichael's "Georgia," and Horace Silver's "May-Reh." Excellent music to play anytime. If you are new to Chicago jazz, these thirteen selections are a great introduction to its style!
