With a total running time of 62:04 minutes, there is a little something for everybody on this CD to discover! Chamaeleo Vulgaris is a jazz group found during 1991 by Frederick Galiay. The CD is an experiment successfully done to share with the listeners a full depth in range of aesthetics between the actual improvisation, and the actual written composition. It carries the title, Ouverture Facile, which is a collection of motifs bound together in improvisation. The group includes Frederick Galiay, Jean-Sebastien Mariage, Bertrand Denzler, Gilbert Roggi, Frank Vaillant, and Bertrand Perrin. This will have a definite appeal to those who enjoy eclectic jazz improvisation.
