Used Record Pile by Camper Van Chadbourne

Used Record Pile is a collaboration collection of Eugene Chadbourne and Camper Van Beethoven from 1987 - 1991. It contains some unusual music and will appeal to those jazz fans who especially enjoy the musical innovations of Chadbourne. Some of the selections include "I talk to the wind," "evil filthy preacher," "zappa medley," "used record pile," "ollie's playhouse," "in the cemetery," from a total of 16 selections. Eugene Chadbourne performs on banjo, guitars, and does voice on all tracks; Jonathan Segel on violin and mandolin; Walter Malli on soprano saxophone; Molly Chadbourne on voice, among other musicians. The title like the collaborators gives the listener many unusual performances and the collaborators are more than just that by whatever name they utilize, for they are seasoned musicians having much fun and performing jazz from their unique perspective, such as on "let's go back in time."
