Everyone knows what a class act Ron Carter is,but in this album his main objective is to get across his love for Brazilian music. Well he accomplished that very nicely. He also brings to the forefront one of my favorites, Houston Person. Houston is about melodic lines and not about how many notes you can stuff into a measure. Bill Frisell really fits his style into this package nicely. Thank you Mr. Carter.
