Take Out by Hong Kong Dragon Club

I urge jazz listeners to take a listen to this most unusual CD. The Hong Kong Dragon Club conducted by leader pianist/harmonica performer, David Packer, is excellent, combining the best of contemporary jazz with world music influences!

TAKE OUT is the title, and it is worth taking out and taking home and enjoying! Allow its melodic tunes to surround you! Selections include: "Beautiful Island," "Green Is The Mountain," "A Place Far Away," "Watering Flowers," "Three Gorges of Yang Guan," "Azalea," "Needle Work," "Love Song Of The Plain," "Just For Tonight," "Tale Of The Great Wall."

There is some great instrument work going on here in this collection, and the musicians are in perfect sync. For purists, there is also some outstanding and imaginative solo work. For jazz listeners who enjoy contemporary jazz with subtle musical motifs and imaginative journeys, this TAKE OUT by the Hong Kong Dragon Club is excellent. This collection has some of the finest harmonica work I have heard in a long time. Perfect CD! Imaginative! Enjoyable!
