Pick Up The Pieces by InterPlay

InterPlay has put together a most enjoyable collection in their new CD release titled PICK UP THE PIECES. 12 selections.

The selections include the memorable "Spidermonkey" (5:02 minutes) written by Paul Pieper; Wes Montgomery's "West Coast Blues;" "Little Bears;" "Sabu;" "Hope;" "Pick Up The Pieces," among others. The rendition of Wes Montgomery's "West Coast Blues" is one of the finest around, and should please the legion of fans of the late guitarist.

There is no one leader on this collection, but instead, a highly creative jazz ensemble that works well and successfully to create a whole image, filled with many avenues of approach and development. A class act, full of energy and life!

"Spidermonkey" is a unique song, and one that will stir the audience with its complex sounds, as are the other songs on this nice contemporary jazz collection by first-rate musicians. For something refreshing and entertaining, give InterPlay and their PICK UP THE PIECES a listen.
