Dena DeRose plays a complex, entertaining piano, and her solo work is a winner every time. She has a unique piano voice. I was reminded at times of the sounds of a young pianist in the late 1950s named Peter Nero.

Selections include a memorable version of "If I Should Lose You," "Detour Ahead," "I've Never Been In Love Before," "I Can See Clearly Now," the wonderfully sung "If You Love Me," "Day In Day Out," "With A Smile," "Touch of Your Lips," and "Alone Together."
