I Can See Clearly Now by Dena DeRose

For a genuine touch of class, give a listen to Dena DeRose play piano and sing jazz vocals on the highly memorable CD release, I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW. 10 selections of excellent, heartfelt jazz!

You will discover one of the best recordings ever done on "What Are You Doing The Rest Of Your Life" as well as "I Can See Clearly Now." Every song on this collection sparkles with magic and sensitivity!

Dena DeRose plays a complex, entertaining piano, and her solo work is a winner every time. She has a unique piano voice. I was reminded at times of the sounds of a young pianist in the late 1950s named Peter Nero.

Selections include a memorable version of "If I Should Lose You," "Detour Ahead," "I've Never Been In Love Before," "I Can See Clearly Now," the wonderfully sung "If You Love Me," "Day In Day Out," "With A Smile," "Touch of Your Lips," and "Alone Together." I can think of no other female jazz vocalist doing the songs in this collection except Dena DeRose, for she puts her special touch on each song that makes it hers to share with the jazz listeners.

I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW is a CD to savor and enjoy over and over again! Great solo performances from Jim Rotondi, Joe Locke, Joel Frahm, Dwayne Burno, Mark Taylor, and Matt Wilson add to the beauty of this CD. A five-star winner! Perfect!
