Andreea’s 2000 debut album,"Spring", is a musical experience in itself. It is a fusion of classical and jazz music, with a dash of her Romanian heritage to bring out the flavor of her music. Her music is composed in a non-traditional form, which makes it a pleasure to listen to. She has studied with Dominique Eade, Steve Drury, Warren Senders, and Bob Moses. With all this knowledge, she was able to mesh these styles together and create wonderful music.
Her lyrics are genius and her piano playing is breathless. On the first track, "Elephants Party Too/Yamboodhey", the listener can experience Andreea’s talents by her wonderful piano solo. Her vocals and piano playing are a perfect match and the title track,"Spring", is a perfect example of this.
The entire album is a wonderful arrangement of music. Andreea did the right thing when making this disc. She is very talented and her music is captivating. Andreea Pauta’s music is timeless.
