New York Voices is a talented group that does some really fine big band/swing material in an updated fashion, full of life and joy! Their CD release, SING! SING! SING! contains 14 songs that will have wide appeal, especially for the lovers of the big band era!

Selections include Louis Prima's "Sing! Sing! Sing!," "Bli Blip," "Cloudburst," "Stardust," "I'll Be Seeing You," among others in this finely crafted collection of jazz group singing. Their rendition of Sammy Fain's "I'll Be Seeing You" is terrific and one of the best around by a jazz vocal group.

What I liked most about this CD collection is its heart-felt song deliveries, feeling of joy, and the atmosphere of songs that get up and swing. New York Voices are Peter Eldridge, Lauren Kinhan, Darmon Meader, Kim Nazarian. Andy Ezrin plays piano, along with a large cast of accomplished musicians. A fine collection of vocals and solo instrumental work in the big band/swing approach. Nice.
