Jazz vocalist Jenny Evans comes up with another winner in the pleasing collection titled GONNA GO FISHIN' and it is highly enjoyable jazz! With pianist Walter Lang giving his great jazz stylings, backed with a group of musicians that are the tops, this CD is bound to find a lot of jazz fans everywhere!

There are 11 selections and each one is a perfect showcase for the vocals of Jenny Evans. The Duke Ellington/Peggy Lee song, "I'm Gonna Go Fishin,'" along with George Gershwin's "The Man I Love," are great renditions, as is the Matt Dennis song, "Angel Eyes." Everything works well on this jazz CD. Jenny Evans debuts some of her own songs with "Hope," and "Still She Dances."

What is most impressive about this new release is Jenny Evans' continuing recording of songs that highlight the beauty of her voice and the sensitivity of her delivery. Jenny Evans has taste and class with the songs she selects to sing, and it is evident in GONNA GO FISHIN'.
