Jason Peri returns with another intriguing collection of original compositions which blends contemporary jazz with a touch of blues and rock. This is a nice, workable collection, and Peri is in top form.

There are 12 selection on RAW BLUE ENERGY, and each one is truly energetic. The project is creative and lively.

Of special note are the songs "Don't Wanna," "Senses," "I've Been There Before," "Vegas Baby," "Her Sweet Smile," and "Raw Blue Energy." Fans of Jason Peri will want this one, and for those new to his sound, this is a fine introduction. A treat, and enjoyable.
