This is a showcase CD collection for jazz singer Yardena. It contains seven songs written by Mark Holen and Yardena, and each song is a fine visualization of jazz images.

The seven selections include "Atocha," "Blue Boogaloo," "Days of Sweet And Sorrow," "Nostalgia," "The Gift," "The Tides," and "Zona Tropical." There is good solo and group work throughout the songs, and it is a pleasure to listen to the group perform and hear the voice of Yardena.

If you have not heard Yardena sing, then this is a fine introduction to her style. The original musical compositions and sound make this fusion of world jazz motifs an enjoyable item for your listening enjoyment.
