Shawn Ryan by Shawn Ryan

Just thought you should all know about this new 23 year old "boy wonder". Shawn is backed by an amazing trio in this album lead by Kelly Park who does some amazing arrangements, specifically one of Lullaby oF Birdland that rocks! Shawn's voice is so velvety and smooth, and makes this album a perfect dinner CD or one to enjoy while sipping a glass of wine by a fire. Shawn's phrasing leaves me truly believing that he is so connected to each and every lyric. What a voice and what an understanding of music that is obviously so before his time. I found this CD on Shawn's website after hearing him live at The Plush Room in San Francisco but I know it can also be found on www.cdbaby.com

Thanks for reading and enjoy this delightful newcomer, he's gonna be big!
