THIS CHRISTMAS is a winning collection of holiday cheer that is enjoyable for all seasons. Each song is a perfect reflection of the fine singing talents of Clairdee accompanied by pianist Ken French. This is an outstanding collection of Christmas music.

There are 10 songs on this CD. Each one is a gem of holiday spirit and pleasure to listen to, and among the songs are found the memorable "This Christmas" and "Peace," along with "Merry Christmas, Baby," "Have Yourself A Merry Christmas," "The Christmas Song," and "Baby, It's Cold Outside."

Clairdee follows in the tradition of Frank Sinatra, Barry Manilow, and Nancy Wilson with her genuine manner in which she conveys emotion and feeling to a song, giving each word a clear personal touch to share with the jazz listening audience. Clairdee is a fine American jazz singer, one of the best.

The solo work on this CD collection is flawless as are the performances. Special note to the great solo work of Glenn Appell on flugelhorn, trumpet, and harmonica. Every musician is topnotch.
