This CD is something that took me by surprise. The flamekats band did an excellent job of making music that appeals to anyone of all ages. I liked the mix of electric blues from the live songs and the simplified acoustic blues songs that sound rather authentic. The band is young and the original music they have written doesn't show it at all, the songs are amazingly well formatted in blues standards. I think they have a lot to look forward too in the next few years as I notice they seem to stay pretty busy in there local market.
