Steve Hass has proved that he is not only one of NYC's top first call players, he's also a talented producer. Traveler is one of the years best recordings with some of the best renditions of classics like People Get Ready, and Skylark along with original compositions and impromtu percussion/drum/vocal interludes. Steve goes from genre to genre without losing authenticity and over all style of sound. The sound template and production remain the constant while the feels change. His 2 drum solos, one in 13 during the outro of JBEN JAZZ, and another over Song Is You, are nothing short of amazing.Everything from the arrangements to the drum sounds is top notch.This is the real deal. I highly suggest this CD to any serious music aficionado.
