Purpose of Soul was a soulful CD; in it’s own right. It started with just the right fusion of instruments that made up a very jazzy, urban, contemporary sound. Of the thirteen tracks I actually had four favorites and that says something of any CD. This CD is perfect for a rainy day, or just a day when you really can’t handle too much noise or too much hype. If you’re in the market for adding a new artist to your jazz collection, then give this group a try; you won’t be disappointed.
