This DVD in color and black & white features 117 minutes of Rosemary Clooney singing her best songs from her 1950s television series. Known by many as everybody's favorite "girl singer," each song reveals her great talent and gift with phrasing.
There are nineteen songs. Among the many fine selections are found "My Blue Heaven," "Moonlight in Vermont," "Blues in the Night," "Mambo Italiano," "Hey There," "Taking A Chance On Love," "Love and Marriage" with Jose Ferrer, and "Come Rain Or Come Shine."
For those who have not seen her appearances from the 1950s, this is a nice collection to have in the home library and it will give the viewer much enjoyment. There is also a bonus performance of "Chicago" included which will delight her fans!
For those who liked the vocals of Rosemary Clooney who died during 2002, this is an ideal collection. Also included is a series of interviews featuring her children, and her nephew, actor George Clooney.
This is a fine trip down memory lane for the jazz audience with plenty of fine memories in song to go around, and share! Highly recommended DVD.
