Out of the 'Miles' school emerges trumpet-eer John Mc Neilwith his noble, yet Avante'- Garde original CD effort. This is ajourney definitely worth taking. Mc Neil's heart speaks with words that are musically eloquent, albeit his sojourn into the surreal, etc.........This CD will challenge your sensibilities! Mc Neil's music is a mantra that 'chants' his melodramatic, shimmering, & exotic renditions, as well as his personal view of how music should be composed. It bubbles with passion & a certain spiritual intensity. I'm not sure how eclectic an audience this disc can or will muster. All I can do is entreat my readers to take part in this wonderful overture of fantasy.
