Dave & his group are fine exponents of the great ethos of jazz one experiences as you venture to the grandeur & mystique of Portland Oregon. The emphasis on balance, continuity, & phrasing in Fleschner's style belies his user friendly technique. All in all, Fleschner & his group render their music with a raw as well as an extraordinary & authentic jazz feeling.
