How many times & ways have we jazz-philes heard the jazz classic, 'Autumn Leaves'? Jazz Guitarist Richie Hart's version contained herein, gives the song a new ethos, & I relegate my readers to Hart's rendition. Richie's gifted way of articulating melody & rhythm in his singular & intellectual way, makes the whole process of listening more gainful for us, his audience. Hart & his group deliver their music in a witty & eclectic fashion.........And, (I feel) Hart maintains a strong campaign against 'the ordinary' in jazz. On the contrary, the group's combined effort seem to be totally contemporary & modern, etc....God Bless em'.....
