Obviously a master of the mainstream jazz idiom, jazz pianist-composer, Roger Davidson has created a piece of 'art' that all jazz-philes should reckon with. So, I offer this disc as an inspiration to jazz musicians everywhere. This is both a group & composer who have stood on the shoulders of those who have preceded them with both innovation & artistic integrity, as well as viable musical ideas.
