Poignant, animated, challenging, experimental, kickin,' defiant, moving, vital, seasoned.........And, this is only howI felt as I heard the 1'st kick-off tune. West coast jazz guitarist Richard Arnold displays a prodigious talent indeed, with his advanced sense of harmonics............His solid chord changes, his interesting runs, his sense of chromatics, his wonderfully executed clusters.........All in all, a project delivered in the spirit of an extensive study in collective improvisation.
