Down Beat's Student Music Awards are 25 years old. That's more than one-fourth the time that jazz has been tickling eardrums. The Loescher Trio's last trip was an eventful one. They had a surprise guest. About half way through their first set at the Jazz Oasis, a jazz club on the north end of Milwaukee, a limo pulls up.
