Rhombus Recording Artist Is #1

Rhombus Records recording artist, Tony Adamo with his song "Live For Your Love," has gone to the #1 spot on the Top 100 Jazz chart at www.musicbuilder.com. This singer/songwriter, smooth jazz vocalist, has come out of nowhere and is storming the jazz charts with his new CD release, DANCE OF LOVE. At www.soundclick.com, Adamo is #1 and #2 with his tune "Ecstasy," on their Smooth Jazz and Jazz charts. "Live For Your Love," continues to be hot at www.soundlick.com’s Smooth R&B chart and is #10.

Jack Maher, who served more than three decades as publisher of respected jazz magazine Down Beat and its parent company, Maher Publications, has died. He was 78.

Maher died Friday at Good Samaritan Hospital in suburban Downers Grove. The cause of death was not specified.
