Adamo Goes #1 Again

Tony Adamo’s song ‘Live For Your Love’ from his CD, DANCE OF LOVE, went to #1 on soundclick.com’s smooth jazz chart 4/25/03. ‘Live For Your Love’ has been doing chart battle with Lee Ritenour’s ‘Dream Away,’ but has now bumped Ritenour’s tune to #2. This tune’s chart life started to grow back in February 2003 going #1 on the top 40 jazz charts at musicbuilder.com; #2 on the Australian charts at mp3.com.au jazz vocal charts; #3 at mp3charts.com, top 40 mp3 jazz chart; and is #5 on soundclick.com’s jazz chart and is rising. Adamo’s tune ‘Ecstasy’ was #8 on the American mp3 charts top 500 jazz chart of California. Adamo and his producer Jerry Stucker are currently at Different Fur Recording Studio, San Francisco, California working on new music that will be included on Mic Gillette’s new CD release. Mic Gillette is best known for his stellar horn playing and arrangements with the legendary band Tower of Power. Mic has played and recorded with Santana, Rolling Stones, Quincy Jones, Elton John, just to name a few. Mic put together the horn section of Tower of Power members and wrote the horn arrangements for Adamo’s ‘No Strings Attached,’ from DANCE OF LOVE. ‘No Strings’ was #1 for over a month at Loudenergy.com’s smooth jazz chart. The future is looking bright for this new rising star.
