Neues Kabarett is proud to present the Marco Eneidi Trio on January 4th, 2003, 9PM. The trio features Jessica Loos, a vocal improviser who has worked with The Living Theatre, Peter Kowald, Alan Silva and just recently collaborated with Cecil Taylor. She has performed at The Vision Festival and Denver Museum of Contemporary Art. She contributes to HIGH TIMES magazine, is writing a book about beat artist Jack Micheline and teaches at New College of California and Academy of Art College.

Alto saxophonist Marco Eneidi has been described as a trickster with "superhuman vituosity on the horn." His collaborators have included Cecil Taylor, Bill Dixon, Don Cherry and Jim Pepper. Eneidi is on over thirty recordings. Cherry Box (Eremite Records), the most recently released of his CD's, is listed by Cadence as one of the best ten in 2001. Forthcoming releases include a quartet with Peter Kowald, a trio with Paul Murphy, a quartet with Peter Broetzmann and a long overdue release of a live date with Glenn Spearman, William Parker and Denis Charles. Last spring Eneidi toured in Japan with drummer Sabu Toyozumi.

Jackson Krall has been playing drums for over forty years and has been working with Cecil Taylor for the past eight. He has performed and recorded with William Parker, Alan Silva and Bill Dixon, among many others. He has been a musical collaborator with Marco Eneidi for over twenty years. He is also an internationally recognized handcrafter of drums and cymbals.
