The Joe Izen Trio

On June 14th, my companion Sara and I strolled into Dillon’s in Manhattan for a drink. Soon we were captivated by the great sounds coming from the back room. We ventured in and caught some songs of a not-so-typical jazz trio. Depending on the song, their music blends Latin, funk and swing with the occasional world beat flavor. From a small info printout we learned the name of the group, The Joe Izen Trio
