Rochester, NY--March 8, 2006-- In a rare performance outside of new York City, Woody Allen and his New Orleans Jazz Band, will open the fifth annual Rochester International Jazz Festival ( in an exclusive benefit concert June 9th at 8 p.m. at the Eastman Theatre.

Proceeds will benefit the New Orleans Musicians Hurricane Relief Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to aiding New Orleans musicians affected by Hurricane Katrina.

The West Bend Sunrise Rotary, producers of the annual Ziegler Kettle Moraine Jazz Festival, announced today it is making a $10,000 donation to the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund. The funds are a portion of the proceeds derived from the 2005 jazz festival, which was held September 9 10. The donation is being made to Rotary International Foundation, which will distribute the funds to local relief projects in the areas affected by Hurricane Katrina.
