Five New Releases on Gingko Leaf Records for James Finn

James Finn, NYC tenor and soprano saxophonist and flutist, announces five new live recordings on Gingko Leaf Records. The Last Matador, and Into the Afterworld completing The Matador Trilogy led off by critically acclaimed Plaza de Toros on Clean Feed Records and Live at the Via Della Pace, Inside Eye, and In Stravinsky's House. All spontaneously produced with no rehearsals or music improvisation at it's ultimate chance taking. His colleagues in this endeavor consist of world reknown artists Warren Smith, Newman Taylor Baker, Michael T.A. Thompson, Dominic Duval, and Klaus Kugel. Derek Taylor writes in The Bagatellen, "With Gingko Leaf as a steady feed source for forthcoming works, fans of focused and impassioned free jazz have much reason to rejoice."
