Joe 'Special Agent' Brett Presents a Fundraiser Concert to Benefit

Promoter/Artist Joe ‘Special Agent’ Brett presents a fundraiser to benefit Daisy's Eye Cancer Fund, this coming Saturday night, March 15th at Jeff Healey’s Roadhouse in Toronto.

The cover charge for this show will be $15 at the door.

It should be noted that this show is NOT the Jeff Healey Memorial Tribute Concert that Healey’s manager/talent buyer Randy Charlton says will be happening sometime this coming May 2008.

All proceeds from this Saturday night’s show will be going directly to Daisy’s Eye Cancer Fund, which helps children with retinoblastoma -- an eye cancer which claimed the eyesight of the late guitarist Jeff Healey, when he was only a year old.

There will be several bands and mixtures of bands performing Saturday night, including North America's authentic CCR Tribute Band, Green River Revival.

There will also be many special, highly talented guest artists including Toronto's ‘All Star Classic Rock Band’ Cajun Moon, which features keyboardist Gregg Dechert (formerly of Bad Company, Uriah Heap and the David Gilmour Band), bassist Darryl ‘Harpo’ Peterson (ex-Dylan Wickens band) and drummer Owen Tennyson (Blue Peter/Molly Johnson).

Past members of Jeff Healey’s band are tentatively scheduled to perform as well.

Rick Spyder, electric violinist/guitarist, will be sitting in with Cajun Moon. A few different band configurations of Cajun Moon will be going on, starting at around 10 p.m.

Green River Revival (CCR tribute band) will be on around 11:30 p.m. to 12 midnight, and will play to about 2 a.m., along with some guest horn players.

Special Agent’ Joe Brett singer/songwriter/guitarist is the evening’s host, and will be performing a musical tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Some of the artists will include keyboard player Eddie Harsch of the Black Crowes.

As mentioned prior, Daisy's Eye Cancer Fund which this concert’s proceeds will go to, assists families whose children have retinoblastoma -- a cancer afflicting young children -- resulting in blindness. It can also be fatal if not treated.
