Musician is Staples Finalist for Inventor of the Year

Scott Clark, has just been selected as a national finalist for Staples. Staples is the largest office supply store in the USA.

He invented a three ring binder clip so you don't always have to punch holes in your reports. As a musician, Scott thought of the idea while looking for an easy way to store sheet music in a notebook.

If he wins Staples will make and distribute his product. Now it is up to the public to vote and decide on the winning invention. Please take a second and vote for him. Just go to

The name of the invention is the Notebook Binder Clip.

Please also reach out to your friends and family. You can vote with multiple email addresses (in other words if everyone in your family has their own email address then everyone in your family can vote everyday).

It would be great to see someone from the music industry claim the "Inventor of the Year" award from Staples. This is a chance for the music community to get behind one of its own.
