PCAMI* teams up with Tony La'katos

Paul Collins Artist Management International better known as PCAMI* is pleased to announce the addition of saxophonist Tony La’katos to our prolific musical family.

Tony La’katos is from Frankfurt, Germany and has been playing music since the age of six progressing to the point of winning a national jazz competition in 1977, then moving on to attend the Bela Bartok Conservatory of Music-Budapest, Hungary graduating in 1979. Since then, Tony has performed on more than 240 CD’s and has toured the world as a sideman and as a leader of his own group. Tony comes from a legacy of famous La’katos musicians that span several generations. Many music aficionados may be familiar with his younger brother, classical violinist Roby La’katos who has also performed around the world and at the world famous Carnegie Hall in New York City.

His latest CD project "Gypsy Colours" which features several members of his talented family (Roby La’katos, violin and pianist/arranger Szakcsi Bela La’katos) has received critical acclaim from the international jazz critics for his famous brand of gypsy jazz music.

"Tony is an outstanding composer and musician who can stand on his own merits as a world class saxophonist" says music impresario Paul Collins. "Many, who listen to his music and especially on saxophone, will be amazed by his colors, textures and music phrasing. It is very important to me that Tony receives more of his share of the global spotlight. Most musicians are already familiar with Tony, however, it is important for music lovers the world over to enjoy it for themselves. His music is beautiful! I am so proud to have him as friend and on our musical roster"
