Steve Weingart announces new band

Steve Weingart is an acclaimed jazz/funk keyboard player, and has toured internationally with Steve Lukather's "El Grupo", the Dave Weckl Band, and Virgil Donati.

In September 2007, Weingart announced a new jazz/funk band. The STEVE WEINGART BAND features Steve Weingart, keyboards; Eric Valentine, drums; Jimmy Earl, bass; Kevin Levi, saxophone; Toshi Yanagi, guitar.

Steve Weingart's new band will be performing their first show at La Ve Lee, Studio City, CA on Thursday, September 13, 2007.

Weingart also leads "Nu Alliance" featuring Frank Gambale (Guitar) Tom Brechtlein (Drums) Carlitos Del Puerto (Bass), Mike Miller (Guitar) & Steve Weingart (Keyboards). Nu Alliance are currently performing tracks from my recent release "Dark Blue Dream" and compositions by Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea & Frank Gambale.

In addition to touring across the United States with Warren Hill, Steve also frequently performs Jazz/Funk/Soul/Latin/Fusion with the Marco Mendoza Trio featuring Marco Mendoza (Bass, Vocals), Joey Heredia (Drums, Percussion) & Steve Weingart (Keyboards).

Other than spending time with his wife, Renee Jones, Steve Weingart lists his passions to include music, modern art (Dali, Magritte and Monet are some favorites), comedy, keeping fit, and Harley Davidsons.
