LA Vida Music Festival to star Louie Cruz Beltran, Pete Escovedo, and Hubert Laws
Corniche Entertainment is proud to announce its inaugural LA Vida Music Festival, to be held at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre on Sunday, October 4th, at 7pm, starring The Louie Cruz Beltran Latin Jazz Ensemble with special guests Hubert Laws and Pete Escovedo.
Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, the LA Vida Music Festival will feature internationally renowned Los Angeles based grammy-nominated artists along with outstanding up and coming local acts. The evening opens with a high energy all female group "Mariachi Ellas Son", followed by the romantic sensual Brazilian sounds of Robert Kyle. The first act closes with the dynamic stylings of singer Chris Bennett, who will include a salute to the Latin recordings of Eydie Gormé. The second act opens with the all percussion ensemble "Chalo Eduardo and the Brazilian Beat". The great Louie Cruz Beltran Orchestra closes out this very special evening, with Grammy-nominated guest stars Hubert Laws on flute, and Pete Escovedo on percussion.
Held at the original open air theatre in the Hollywood Hills (pre-dating even the Hollywood Bowl) at the newly restored John Anson Ford Amphitheatre, this evening offers an exciting array of musical talent, performing with a Latin flavor.
