Eric van Aro was born into an Italian/German Artist family with a highly cosmopolitan background: In fact he is the son of the internationally known Singer Caterina Valente and Producer and ex-juggler Erik van Aro Sr..
Eric has developed his own artistic personality from a wide range of experiences within the business. He studied theatre and dance, hosted popular radio programs appeared as a singer and dancer on television and over the years made a name for himself providing image consulting services for performers as well as for the cosmetic industry..
His love for the theatre as well as his passion for concerts, resulted among others in a European concert tour "Freunde-Amici-Friends" in the early ’Nineties as well as successfully landing the role of "Captain Von Trapp" in the Swiss production of the musical "The sound of music".
In 1998 Eric van Aro decided to combine all his experiences by founding ERAKI Entertainment, a production company which covers all aspects and services needed in the Entertainment industry.
A highlight and a perfect example of an ERAKI Entertainment production is the internationally critically acclaimed "Girltalk" album Eric has produced for his Mother Caterina Valente and Catherine Michel, harpist from the Paris Opéra.
