A native of Bologna, the charming and highly cultural university town in northern Italy, Marco Pignataro began his musical studies at the ıBruno Madernaı Conservatory of Music. At this fine classical institution, Marco majored in classical saxophone under the prestigious guidance of Maestro Gilberto Monetti, a celebrated recording classical saxophonist (Saxophone Journal, Vo.l 18, No.5).
