Mayhem Productions is an orginization that was set up by a Brooklyn-based musician named Jeremy Powell, to help promote "lesser-known" musicians/artists in the world today. The purpose of this web site is to get their works seen and heard by the masses and to help move music and art forward. All of the musicians, for example, that you will read about in this web site all have their own original projects that are helping push music forward and out of the stagnant position it has been put in by the media and record companies. The problem that we're trying to solve with this web site is the fact that these musicians and artists are not given the exposure and the opportunities that they need to their get art seen and heard by a national and even international audience. This web site hopes to change that. With this web site Jeremy hopes to bring all of these artists more exposure and most of all, more work. What you will find in the following web pages is cutting edge music and beautiful artwork, all of which are starting to define an eclectic artist's underground movement in New York City.
