Tina May is a wonderful singer, with a superb voice and an engaging stage presence. She's collaborated with Nikki Iles for many years, and Arnie Somogyi and Winston Clifford are an excellent rhythm section. Add to this a choice of material not limited to the usual standards, and you have everything needed for a really enjoyable evening. Not only is Winston Clifford a master percussionist, but in the encore he demonstrated he also has a fine voice!
