Coventry Jazz Festival (The Herbert)

Clark Tracey is becoming something of an Art Blakey figure in UK jazz - not only is he a fine drummer, but as a band leader he has the ability to pick great young players. All of his bandmates have terrific chops and are names to be watched in the future. It was nice to hear such a good band in the intimate surroundings of the Herbert cafe bar.
