Richard Sinclair was one of the UK's premier "Progressive Rock" bassists in the 1970s, being a key member of "Caravan" and "Hatfield and the North". The latter in particular had strong jazz connections and for this concert his pals included the great Tony Coe. They did a number of old Hatfield tunes, with strong melodies and faintly surreal lyrics, and some new material too. The band may have been put together just for the festival, but I think it has a lot of potential. Apologies to Myrtle for not catching her full name.
