Brecon Jazz Festival (Market Hall)

To celebrate Stan's 80th year (can he really be that old?) the Brecon Jazz Festival gave him the opportunity to play in three different contexts; a duo with saxophonist Bobby Wellins (which took place in Brecon Cathedral), the six-piece Hexad, and this concert with the big band. They played originals by Stan and son Clark, plus a few from Ellington and others. The band comprises some of the UK's finest and they made a glorious noise!
