This was the first visit to Nottingham by Danish trio Trioscope, joined by special guest Ingrid Laubrock, whose has become an important part of the UK scene since relocating from Germany in 1989. Trioscope have been the house band at Copenhagen's Christiana Jazz Club for several years, and they play contemporary jazz with style and energy. Ingrid Laubrock's connection with them goes way back - as a child she had music lessons with Marko Martinovic's father!
