London-born but now resident in Los Angeles, Benn Clatworthy is a muscular and passionate player. For this visit to the UK he brought New York pianist Cecilia Coleman, and the rhythm section of Mike Janisch (who seems to crop up in a lot of fine bands) and Martin Drew.
