HSBC Brecon Jazz Festival in Brecon, Powys, Wales on August 11, 2007
This selection of images is from Saturday's gigs. The Three Tenors featured the talents of Don Weller, Mornington Lockett and Art Themen playing straight-ahead modern jazz. Eddie Parker's "Mr. Vertigo" incorporated world music and latin influences, while the elegant Rossano Sportiello is a great exponent of stride piano. The Barcodes' brand of jazz has strong elements of blues and R'n'B, and the trio were joined by guests Claire Hirst, Alan Barnes and Jim Mullen, taking time out from their own bands.
