Ten Years of Jazz at the Bonington (Bonington Theatre)

Ten years ago the first gig promoted at the Bonington by Nottingham's Jazz House was the Stan Tracey Septet, so to celebrate the tenth anniversary, they went one better and booked the Octet. As ever the playing and arrangements were first class, and they were really appreciated by the packed audience. Stan has the knack of picking rising stars for his band, Simon Allen and Sam Mayne both showing great promise.
