A truly international quartet, with German-born Hans Koller and French tenor saxophonist Francois Theberge providing the original compositions. Hans is mainly known as a composer/arranger for large ensembles such as the BBC Big Band and the NDR Big Band, so it was nice to hear him working in a small group situation; he proved himself to be an able soloist. Percy Purseglove and expat US drummer Jeff Williams provided a solid foundation for the band.
