One of John Etheridge's many ongoing projects, the Zappatistas have been going for around a decade. They tend to focus on Zappa's jazzier tunes (Big Swifty, Grand Wazoo etc.) and do a fine job with both the tricky ensemble work and stretching out on the solos. The music may be challenging, but they have a great deal of fun playing it.
